An Audience with HRH Princess Haifa Al Faisal

As part of the 1st Al Ahsa Oasis Festival, Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and Capt. Amal Ahmed were honoured to meet Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa Al Faisal during the official programme in Al Ahsa, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The audience represented another important milestone in their continuing journey to promote friendship, cultural exchange and people-to-people relations between India and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The occasion provided an opportunity to exchange greetings, commemorate the moment through official photographs and preserve another chapter in the Government & Diplomatic Digital Museum.

THE FIRST ENCOUNTER

A Warm Welcome from Her Royal Highness

Following the morning activities of the 1st Al Ahsa Oasis Festival, the participating bikers gathered for lunch at Dar Basma Al Ahsa, a traditional family restaurant in Al Ahsa renowned for its authentic Hasawi cuisine. Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and Capt. Amal Ahmed had already finished their lunch and were walking downstairs when they noticed the arrival of Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa Al Faisal.

As Her Royal Highness entered the restaurant, she was welcomed with traditional Saudi Arabic coffee. Turning towards the gathered bikers, she immediately noticed Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and Capt. Amal Ahmed in their motorcycle riding attire and warmly remarked, "MashaAllah."

The couple respectfully greeted Her Royal Highness and were formally introduced. Upon learning about their motorcycle expeditions and their mission of promoting friendship, cultural understanding and people-to-people relations, Her Royal Highness expressed genuine interest and enthusiasm in hearing about their adventures across the Kingdom and beyond.

This spontaneous first encounter created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that naturally led to the memorable conversation which followed during the official audience.

During the audience, Her Royal Highness Princess Haifa Al Faisal warmly spoke with Capt. Amal Ahmed and asked where the couple had started their journey across the Kingdom.

Capt. Amal replied that they had started their journey from the southern region of Saudi Arabia. Her Royal Highness smiled and remarked, "Oh, nice choice." She then added, "Well, every place here is beautiful."

Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman responded with a smile, "I love this beautiful country so much that I was honoured and blessed to marry the beautiful daughter of this lovely land." The heartfelt remark was received with a warm smile from Her Royal Highness, creating a memorable moment of warmth, mutual respect and shared appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Following the official programme of the 1st Al Ahsa Oasis Festival, Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and Capt. Amal Ahmed continued their journey by exploring some of the most significant historical and cultural landmarks of Al Ahsa, one of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's most treasured heritage regions.

Their visit included heritage museums, traditional architecture, historical exhibits and cultural sites that preserve the remarkable history, customs and traditions of Al Ahsa. Every location reflected the Kingdom's commitment to protecting its rich heritage while sharing it with future generations.

Throughout their visit, the couple experienced not only the historical significance of these landmarks, but also the warmth, hospitality and cultural pride of the local community, making this chapter of their journey both educational and deeply memorable.

Among the memorable exhibits visited was the preserved bed associated with the stay of King Abdulaziz Al Saud at Al Mullah House in Al Ahsa. Seeing this carefully preserved historical room offered a meaningful connection to an important period in the Kingdom's history.

Every room, exhibit and historical display revealed another chapter of Al Ahsa's remarkable heritage, allowing visitors to appreciate how the Kingdom continues to preserve its cultural identity for future generations.

A Memorable Meeting with Noura and Her Family

While participating in the 1st Al Ahsa Oasis Festival, Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and Capt. Amal Ahmed experienced another memorable moment that beautifully reflected the warmth and hospitality of the people of Saudi Arabia.

A Saudi lady named Noura, who had been following the Indian Saudi Travellers on social media, noticed Capt. Amal's post and asked about their location. After learning that they were attending the festival in Al Ahsa, she happily came with her family to meet them in person.

The meeting was filled with warmth, smiles and genuine friendship. As a thoughtful gesture of kindness, Noura presented Capt. Amal Ahmed with a beautiful gift and a heartfelt handwritten message, creating one of the most cherished memories of their visit to Al Ahsa.
