An Evening Dedicated to Orphaned Children

On 29 January 2016, Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman joined members of Top 1 Bikers, alongside KGMT bikers, in a community gathering dedicated to orphaned children at Rouhaa Tourist Resort in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The event was organised under the theme “يدنا بيدك” — “Hand in Hand” and celebrated International Orphans Day. The contemporary Facebook post published by Topone Bikers on 1 February 2016 identifies the volunteer team “لأجلك يا وطن” as the organiser, in cooperation with Rouhaa Tourist Resort.

The evening brought together children, volunteers and members of the motorcycle community for a programme centred on encouragement, participation and shared happiness. The children's activities were the heart of the gathering, while the bikers contributed their time and enthusiasm to make the occasion memorable.

Hand in Hand — A Shared Purpose

The theme “Hand in Hand” expressed the spirit of the occasion: bringing people together to share an evening with the children and help them feel welcomed and appreciated.

Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman, participating as the Indian Solo Biker, joined Top 1 Bikers, alongside members of KGMT. Their involvement brought members of the motorcycle community into a programme focused on children and community connection.

The photographs preserve the event poster, the bikers together and other moments from the evening, helping document the occasion as part of the community-service archive.

Celebrating the Children's Talents

The programme included artwork, painting and stage performances by the children. These activities gave them opportunities to participate, express themselves and share their talents with the audience.

Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and the attending bikers cheered the children and encouraged their performances. The occasion was not simply about watching a programme; it was about taking part in the children's happiness and recognising their efforts.

The photographs show children in performance costumes, groups gathered together and moments of interaction with the visitors. Together, these images preserve the lively atmosphere of the celebration.

Companionship and Dinner Together

The gathering also provided time for the children, volunteers and visitors to share an evening beyond the stage activities. Dinner formed part of the programme and offered another opportunity for companionship and interaction.

The evening brought together different members of the community around a shared purpose: to create an enjoyable experience for the children. The activities, photographs and shared moments helped make the gathering a collective experience rather than simply a formal event.

Community service can begin with giving time, offering encouragement and sharing moments that help others feel welcomed and valued.

The Motorcycle Display — Bringing Smiles to the Children

One of the memorable parts of the evening was a short motorcycle display by the participating bikers in front of the children. The riders made a small display, adding a distinctive and exciting experience to the programme.

For the children, the display offered something different from the artwork, painting and stage performances. The motorcycles created excitement and gave the bikers another way to connect with the young audience.

For Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman and the participating riders, the purpose extended beyond displaying their motorcycles. They were sharing their passion in a way that could bring happiness to others. The children's smiles and reactions made the experience meaningful to the bikers as well.

The display reflected how a shared interest such as motorcycling can become a means of community engagement when used to support an occasion dedicated to others.

The Contribution of the Biking Community

The participation of Top 1 Bikers and KGMT bikers demonstrated how members of the motorcycle community could contribute to a humanitarian gathering through their presence, encouragement and willingness to take part.

The evening brought together children's activities, stage performances, dinner and the motorcycle display around a common purpose. Each part of the programme offered a different way for the participants to interact and share in the occasion.

For Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman, this event forms part of his documented community-service experiences in Saudi Arabia. It reflects the value of using personal interests and community connections to support activities that bring people together.

A Lasting Message of Inclusion and Togetherness

The International Orphans Day gathering on 29 January 2016 remains a meaningful entry in the community-service archive. The children were at the centre of the programme, with their creative activities and performances supported by an audience that included volunteers and bikers.

The shared dinner and motorcycle display added further moments of connection to the evening. Together, the activities created an opportunity for enjoyment, encouragement and memories that extended beyond the individual programme items.

The event is a reminder that community service is not limited to donations or formal ceremonies. Giving time, cheering for children, appreciating their talents, sharing a meal and creating an enjoyable experience can also be meaningful forms of participation.

The preserved photographs and contemporary Facebook post help document this occasion as part of Capt. Mir Shakeel UrRahman's early community engagement and the wider story of people-to-people connections in Saudi Arabia.
